Hi! I’m Chelsea Spain and I’m a former collegiate softball player and assistant coach from Rogers State University. I was primarily a middle infielder and power hitter in my time at RSU. During my career, I helped lead the Hillcats to their first NCAA Division II National Championship in 2022, along with a MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association) conference tournament championship in 2022, 2024, and a regular season championship in 2024. I earned several individual honors, including Rogers State Female Newcomer of the Year (2022), All-Tournament Team selection at the Division II Women’s College World Series, and multiple MIAA and RSU Academic Honors. After completing my career, I served as an assistant coach at RSU, where I gained valuable experience mentoring and developing collegiate athletes alongside my former coaches. In addition to my athletic achievements, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medical/Molecular Biology and an Associate’s degree in Chemistry from Rogers State. I am passionate about helping young athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game while fostering a positive and competitive team environment.
